Bio:
Jennifer Sidey is a family medicine practitioner with Family Medical Centers. Prior to joining Family Medical Centers’ Fleming Island location, Dr. Sidey completed her residency in family medicine at Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park, Florida.

She received her board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine and her Doctor of Medicine with a Distinction in Research degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Louisville, Kentucky where she had also completed her post-baccalaureate pre-medicine program, magna cum laude.

Dr. Sidey’s professional interests and research are focused on hormone therapy, healthcare for at-risk populations, palliative and quality-of-life care and resident training and education. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

With a heart for service and a belief in physicians as community leaders, Dr. Sidey has helped to institute a food pantry for a low income clinic, created a newborn wellness initiative and has volunteered as a physician at health fairs, women’s centers, emergency shelters, missions and provided physicals for at-risk youth.

She is affiliated with the American Association of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Clay County Medical Society, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the American Association for the Advancement of the Sciences.

Dr. Sidey’s interests include camping, canoeing, wood working, travel, reading and spending time with her husband and children.
