Brittany Bunn is a highly-skilled advanced practice registered nurse (PENDING) with Family Medical Centers. Prior to joining Family Medical Centers’ Fleming Island location, Bunn was a trauma nurse lead specialist at Orange Park Medical Center and completed her primary care internship with sister company Coastal Family Medicine in Orange Park, Florida. Bunn has her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University, Chicago, Illinois and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University.

Through her primary care internship she provided 600 clinical hours in the outpatient clinical setting, gaining valuable experience in monitoring, evaluating and treating acute and chronic medical conditions through physical examination, reassessment and diagnostic interpretations. Her key skills include emergency and trauma care, electronic medical records, infection control and medication administration. Bunn is especially proficient in the modalities of treatments for the aging, adult and acutely ill populations.

Bunn is affiliated with American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Emergency Nurses Association. She is certified as a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse as well as in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
