Dr. Mike Hardin has been in a private pediatric practice since 1982 and was board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics in 1989 and re-certified as a Diplomat of The American Board of Pediatrics in 1997 and completed all the requirements to be re-certified as a Diplomat of The American Board of Pediatrics in 2015. He served as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Orange Park Medical Center on several occasions, serves on the Medical Executive Committee and Quality Assurance Committee at Orange Park Medical Center.
He and his wife, Cecily, of 42 years attend church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island where they have served as Eucharistic Ministers for over 20 years. They are actively involved with Habitat for Humanity in Clay County and The Way free medical clinic in Green Cove Springs.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Barbara Trunzo (formerly Forester) returns to Family Medical Centers at the Orange Park Pediatrics location. Barbara is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, practicing medicine for 25 years. She is a preceptor for graduate students with University of North Florida’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.
Additionally, Barbara serves her country as captain in the U.S. Navy and the Director for Health Services Headquarters Unit for the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville. She was also a pediatric nurse practitioner and in charge of local military clinics in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
Barbara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and immunization. She is a member of the Naval Reserve Association, Women in Military Service and the National Honor Society for Nursing.
