Scott Marberry, M.D. is board certified in family medicine and primary care sports medicine and is a candidate for board certification in obesity medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City in 2013. He served his residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando where he was the Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Before joining Family Medical Centers, Marberry was an attending physician for the Center for Health and Sports Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. He is one of the leading experts in his field with multiple publications and educational presentations.
Marberry combines the full spectrum of family medicine care along with knowledgeable treatment for non-surgical orthopedic conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis, strains, sprains, and fracture care. He performs ultrasound diagnostics and image-guided injections for all extremity treatments, which include platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid and cortisone injections.
Marberry has served as team physician for many high school and collegiate athletics, being present on the sidelines for immediate medical evaluation and sports physicals. He has also covered large events such as marathons and triathlon medical coverage, international volleyball (FIVB) coverage, and is one of the team physicians for USA Taekwondo. Marberry holds affiliations with the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Medical Association, and Florida Academy for Family Physicians.

Betsy Geraci is a certified physician assistant who joined the team with more than seven years of experience helping patients with examinations, preventative care and treatments.
Geraci earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the practice, Geraci worked for First Coast Heart and Vascular providing inpatient cardiology services to hospital patients. She also has experience working as a geriatrics physician assistant and primary care physician assistant, providing care to people of all ages.
Certified by the Florida Department of Health Commission and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Geraci is also licensed by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Chassitie Gomez is a licensed family nurse practitioner with Family Medical Centers. Encompassing a broad clinical background with in-depth nursing and management experience, Gomez joined the team with more than eight years of providing geriatric, acute, primary and urgent care for her patients.
Gomez earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and her Master of Science in Nursing in Clinical Nurse Leadership from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Gomez worked for LGS Medical Services Group in Norfolk, Virginia providing primary care for patients in assisted living and long-term care facilities before joining Family Medical Centers. Gomez also worked at Sentara Healthcare in the same area managing emergency medical response cases, primarily focusing on treatment for life-threatening, urgent-care conditions.
A member of the American Nurses’ Association and The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Medicine, Gomez possesses a broad clinical background with specializations in post-acute care, LTC care, wound care and EMR software.
