JACKSONVILLE, Fla., February 27, 2016 – Family Medical Centers welcomes Laurie Hale to their practice. Hale is a registered nurse practitioner who earned her nursing degree from Rhode Island College and became a staff nurse for the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California.
Her nursing career developed into different roles with various Naval hospitals around the country, including division officer, clinical nurse manager and department head.
Hale then earned her Master’s degree in Nursing at Hampton University and continued her career at Naval Hospital in Jacksonville. Between 2009 and 2016, she served as program director as well as training site faculty and instructor for the Pediatric Advance Life Support Program. She served the hospital until last year when she joined Family Medical Centers.
“Ms. Hale’s extensive and ongoing training makes her a great addition to our growing practice at Coastal Family Medicine,” said Family Medical Centers lead physician Frederic Porcase. “Our goal is to offer the best possible care for our patients and having Ms. Hale here helps us achieve this.”
In addition to Hale’s nursing degree at Hampton University, she has taken many vital courses throughout her career including: Trauma Nurse Care, Fleet Hospital Field Training and Clinical Management.
