Family Medical Centers Welcomes New ARNP to Their Team
03.14.16JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – February 29, 2016 – In order to better support the needs of patients at their 11 locations, Family Medical Centers welcomes the addition of a board certified advanced registered nurse practitioner to their practice.
Nurse Katarina Engler will serve pediatric to geriatric-aged patients managing care that includes preventative wellness, chronic disease management, women’s services and routine care.
Engler received her Master of Science in nursing from University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University. Prior to joining Family Medical Centers, Engler worked for several years at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where she also completed her nurse practitioner rotations. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Credentialing Center serves as secretary for nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau International in Jacksonville. Engler is serving patients at the Riverside and Normandy locations.
