Family Medical Centers Welcomes Casey Hense, ARNP-C

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – October 10, 2014 – Native to Orange Park, Casey Hense, ARNP-C brings more than 15 years nursing experience to Family Medical Centers’ Middleburg practice.

 Hense has served as a registered nurse providing one-on-one care to patients with chronic illnesses and to those needing emergency care. She comes to Family Medical Centers from a local Orange Park family practice where she was consistently a top performer and was the only provider to receive 100 percent patient satisfaction. “Having Casey’s experience will be beneficial to our Family Medical Center patients, we are excited to welcome her to our team,” said Kent Braeutigam, D.O.

 Hense received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University.  She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nurses.

 Giving back to her community through nursing education, Hense served as a University of North Florida adjunct professor in 2012. She continues to share information regarding general health and blood pressure management for seniors as a guest speaker at H2U conferences. She is also a preceptor for nursing students seeking a master’s degree in primary care and family medicine.

 Hense volunteers as a member of Clay County Medical Society’s medical staff to perform school and sports physicals to children and teens of Clay County as well as a nursing volunteer at The Way Medical Clinic of Green Cove Springs.
