Family Medical Centers Announces the Addition of Cassandra Andrews, ARNP to Riverside Location

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – April 10, 2015 – To help serve the increasing needs of their practice, Family Medical Centers welcomes the addition of Board Certified Family Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Cassandra Andrews to their Riverside location.

Local to Jacksonville, Andrews received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Andrews is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

Before joining Family Medical Centers, she served as a family nurse practitioner at St. Vincent’s Primary Care in Green Cove Springs, Fla. She also performed duties as a circulating nurse for surgical services for UF Health Cancer Hospital in Gainesville. She has clinical experience with physical exams, life-threatening emergencies, women’s health, diabetes, chronic disease, well-child exams and elder care.

“Andrews comprehensive experience in different areas of healthcare will be beneficial for the various types of needs our patients require at Family Medical Centers,” said Dr. Jaime Revollo, Riverside’s primary physician.

Andrews volunteers with P.A.C.E. Center for Girls and Haven Hospice in Jacksonville.
