JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – July 11, 2016 – For more than 20 years, Family Medical Centers has served the Jacksonville area. Due to increasing growth, patients will see two new faces at the Orange Park and Riverside offices.
Dr. Mohammad M. Shehadeh and Nurse Practitioner Shreya Amin will be added to the more than 30 Family Medical Centers providers.
“We are happy to have Dr. Shehadeh and Mrs. Amin join our team,” said Dr. Gene Harris. “They have the experience and compassionate care that we want to offer to our patients.”
Mohammad M. Shehadeh, M.D., received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, Bayamon. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and internship at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. Dr. Shehadeh holds his Bachelor of Science from the Universidad De Puerto Rico, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed by the state’s of Florida and Michigan; and Puerto Rico, but has been practicing in the state of Florida for the past five years. Prior to joining Family Medical Centers he worked as a full time hospitalist with Inpatient Consultants of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Shehadeh is serving patients at the Family Medical Center’s Riverside location.
Shreya Amin, ARNP, received her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University in Wisconsin and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed by the state of Florida.
Before joining Family Medical Centers, Mrs. Amin worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center as a nurse in the pulmonary unit. Her past clinical experience includes pediatrics, performing assessments and procedures on infants, children and adolescents as well as creating customized treatment plans. She is practicing at Family Medical Center’s Orange Park location.
